Blues Harp Women - the CD!

Blues Harp Women album cover, artistic drawing of female playing harmonica

This is a double compilation album curated by Norman Davis, a blues radio presenter from Idaho and released by Ruf Records. The album celebrates female harmonica players, with 31 tracks from players across the world, including 2 Aussies - Dorothy-Jane and Marion Turner.  Norman says “I hope this album will shed some light on what has been a black hole in the blues universe. Perhaps this will help female players get the attention that has passed them by in the past.”

The album can be purchased through itunes, Ruf Records and other online stores.
